Wow, it’s Friday already, doncha just love the short weeks after a holiday! It would be nice if every work week was four days. This week, RochesterConservative.com is featuring JJ Cale on Friday Night Blues. I’ve been a fan of JJ since I first heard “Crazy Mama” back in the 1970’s. Did you know that JJ also penned “Cocaine”, “After Midnight” (both made famous by Eric Clapton) and “Call Me The Breeze” (made famous by Lynyrd Skynyrd). JJ Cale influenced many artists, including Eric Clapton and Dire Straights. Here’s a great video of JJ Cale and his most excellent band performing “After Midnight”.
