Alright, there’s much more to our veneration of Moms and our appreciation of your sacrifices and love of your children.
No Love like a Mother’s Love
There is no love, like a mother’s love,
no stronger bond on earth…
like the precious bond that comes from God,
to a mother, when she gives birth.
A mother’s love is forever strong,
never changing for all time…
and when her children need her most,
a mother’s love will shine.
God bless these special mothers,
God bless them every one…
for all the tears and heartache,
and for the special work they’ve done.
When her days on earth are over,
a mother’s love lives on…
through many generations,
with God’s blessings on each one.
Be thankful for our mothers,
for they love with a higher love…

Make sure you do something nice for your Mom to show your appreciation of her love for you and all that she’s done for you! Remember, this show of appreciation shouldn’t be just limited to Mothers Day.

I finished her new kitchen floor last night and took her to Home Depot so she could get a new shower/tub. Next up… New cupboards. Then maybe I can get to the bathroom.

It’s a whole lot cheaper for me to do the work so she can put the money into her house rather than some contractor’s pockets. There isn’t much, in terms of home remodeling/construction, that I’m afraid to touch (and if I am, it’s just because I don’t have the proper heavy equipment that an every day contractor would have access to). Later this summer, I’ll be rewiring her garage and putting on a new roof.
The only question is… when I’ll find time to finish my own home repairs
